Mezzanine Chefs

Behind the unmistakable authentic Thai flavors of Mezzanine we have a fantastic team, bringing traditional recipes to a modern kitchen.

Led by Executive Chef, Liliana López, Thai Consultant Chef, Dim Geefay and Thai Resident Chef Jakkree Putaruk.

CHEF JAKKREE

Hailing from the Province of Trang in Southern Thailand, where he began his career as a cook, Chef Jakkree brings bold, authentic Thai flavors to life at Mezzanine. With experience in top kitchens across Asia, Europe, the Middle East and now Mexico, his mastery of traditional techniques while embracing fresh locally sourced ingredients, make every dish a celebration.

CHEF LILIANA

Chef Liliana López is from the state of Puebla, in central Mexico. Ever since she was little, she was passionate about the smells, flavors and fresh ingredients cooking in her mother’s pots. She keeps the Mexican soul beating in the kitchen, expressed in our breakfast and beach menus, while guarding the true Thai spirit and food traditions.

CHEF DIM

Dim is a well known Thai cookery teacher and television personality who has been guiding our menus, flavors and authenticity since we opened Mezzanine in 2004.  She has passed on to our team all the recipes and techniques she learnt from her mother while growing up in Bangkok
