To celebrate the Thai New Year we will be bringing you some of the best loved Thai street food which you can watch our chefs prepare in the restaurant. In our mini Thai market you can sample specialities such as pork and shrimp skewers, wontons, pineapple fried rice, Som Tam, banana spring rolls.
As this special festival falls over the full moon we will also have our telescope out on the deck for some moon gazing and you can add a little more mysticism to your evening having your tarot cards read to see what the new year has in store for you.
Songkran is a time for purification, to wash away any bad luck from the previous year and enter the new year free of negative spirits and ready for good blessings. Now this ceremonial offering of water and cleansing has turned into a giant celebration and... water fight.
Join us on the beach - be prepared to get wet 😉
Thursday 14th | 10 -11am
Join us as we give thanks and honor water, one of the most vital elements of life, celebrated in the Songkran festival.
Allow yourself to be led in meditative dance whilst being gently held as you flow with the water. The safe space created in this weightless state, allows tension to be released from the body and mind.
(Each session lasts 20 mins, please contact us to reserve your spot)
Water evokes purity, clarity and calm so it is the perfect partner to yoga. Find your true center on a paddleboard in the beautiful natural setting of Nopalitos Lagoon. Practice gentle hatha and vinyasa poses in the shallow water, on your anchored paddleboard. Practicing on a gently moving surface engages the core muscles and strengthens other muscles which wouldn't otherwise be used. A stunning location and beautiful experience to help find your internal balance.
As our Songkran celebrations come to a close, we invite you to a short 30 minute guided group meditation. Start your morning with a calm, focused mind, to set the tone for your entire day and perhaps the entire Thai New Year.
