Experience the mysticism of “Día de Muertos”, and join the celebrations on November 1st
Families create vibrant altars adorned with marigold flowers, sugar skulls, and the favorite foods of their departed loved ones. It's a joyful, meaningful occasion to honor and remember those who have passed away. During this time, the spirits of the deceased return to be with the living, fostering a strong sense of connection between generations. It's a celebration of life, a blend of indigenous and Catholic traditions, and a UNESCO-recognized cultural heritage that beautifully embodies the Mexican spirit of honoring the past.
- 7:30 pm. Start your evening at Mezzanine with a warm welcome featuring a mezcal shot and a purification ceremony with copal.
- 8:00 pm. Follow our "Catrin" and "Catrina" as they lead you on a guided pilgrimage, singing songs and "calaveritas" along the way.
- 8:30 pm. Upon reaching Mi Amor, explore a traditional "Día de Muertos" altar, enjoy a mezcal shot while we explain the symbolism of all the elements that feature on the altar, such as marigold flowers, sugar skulls, and candles.
- 9:00 pm. Stay for dinner in Mi Amor and enjoy the traditional dance "Baile de los viejitos" from Michoacán
